Kristi Peterson
Kristi has been coaching Irish Masters for 3 years. She was inspired by her mother who is an avid Masters swimmer in California to continue with swimming after training for many years on club teams including the Irvine Novaquatics under Dr. Dave Salo (current head coach of USC swimming) and Irvine Aquazots under Brian Pajer (current head coach of UCI swimming). As a Masters Swimmer, she has competed in many meets and postal swims including worlds and nationals and her times have frequently been in the top 10 in the nation. She currently holds the Indiana state record in the 800m free. While she is not at the pool, she is working on getting her Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Notre Dame.

Chris is entering his second year swimming with the Irish Masters and his first year coaching the Irish Masters. An IM and breaststroke specialist in college, Chris has concentrated on longer distance swims since joining Irish Masters. He has competed in several postal events during the past year and this summer he also competed in the first annual USMS 25K Open Water Championship finishing 14th overall in a time of 6 hours and 48 minutes.
