Irish Masters is a swim program to motivate adult swimmers, triathletes and open water swimmers
who have interest in being coached to increase one's performance or fitness.
January 30th Practice Schedule and Stroke Filming
Take Advantage Of A Unique Opportunity
On Sunday, January 30th, Irish Masters has been invited to tag along with the Triple Threat Tri club to do some stroke filming at the pool. Each person will get to swim 2 25’s of their choice and will get a DVD with everyone’s stroke afterwards. The taping will start at 2 PM on Sunday at Rolf’s, with the Masters team going near the end. There will be no cost for the taping.
Please email Coach Chris if you intend to participate.
Because of the filming, Masters practice has been moved up to 2pm - 3pm on Sunday, Jan. 30th.
One more thing, just a reminder that we’d like all of you swimming with us to register with USMS. That way you can swim in meets and postal competitions, and we need you registered for us to remain a Masters team. You can register online, or for those of you who want to take advantage if student rates you can mail in your entry. See instructions below.

Join Or Renew Your USMS Membership
All Masters are required to have USMS membership for insurance purposes and to participate in meets. To join USMS click on: http://www.usms.org/reg/. Make sure that you pick "Irish Masters (IRM)" as your team affiliation. Once you have done this, please email a copy of your registration card to Coach Kristi so that we have your information on file.

About Our Coaches
Meet Kristi Peterson and Chris Seibert. Both hold Masters swimming records and have participated in numerous national swimming competitions. Kristi has coached the Irish Masters for the past 3 years, Chris joined the coaching staff this Fall.

Schedule
Mon. / Weds. : 8:30 - 9:30 PM
Sunday: 5:00 - 6:00 PM
*Tues. / Thurs. : noon - 1:00 PM
*No coach on deck for the afternoon workouts. Workouts will be posted and a coach may be in the water.
Fees
• $40 per semester for all swimmers. Please give to coach.
• Community members: additional $3 per visit payable at front desk.
• Faculty & staff: please show your card at front desk.
Practice Location
Rolfs Aquatic Center on the University of Notre Dame Campus. Rolfs is the only 50 m LC pool in the area and the most competitive pool in Northern Indiana. For information: (574) 631-5980.
Register with USMS
Reminder to everyone to register www.usms.org for 2009-2010. The student subscription is $20/year; all others are $35/year. With this you will receive Swimmer Magazine 6 times a year.
